Seven years after the inauguration of the National Museum of the 21st Century Arts in Rome (MAXXI) and almost seventeen years since the Ministry of Cultural Heritage started establishing its collections, the MAXXI Arte wishes to convey – through this catalogue – the nature and relevance of the work accomplished over the past years. This catalogue includes all the Artists of the collection. It is a handy reference tool for researchers and professionals, but also a substantial and significant synthesis of contemporary art production, addressed to the Museum’s public.
